PlainPDF is an offline-first mobile PDF reader and image-to-PDF utility crafted by Huanzhi Tech. We respect and protect your personal privacy. PlainPDF is built from the ground up under our Offline by Design commitment. This policy describes how your information is handled.
1. Zero Data Collection & Pure Offline Operation
PlainPDF is an entirely offline application. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data.
- No Account System: No registration, no login, no collection of email, phone number, or device identifiers.
- No Cloud Upload: PlainPDF initiates zero network connections. Your documents never leave your physical device.
- Zero Third-Party SDKs: No analytics, telemetry trackers, crash-reporting SDKs, or advertising platforms.
- Local Sandbox Storage: Documents, bookmarks, reading progress, and annotations (persisted via sidecar JSON files) reside exclusively within your application’s private sandbox.
2. System Permissions
PlainPDF requests system permissions only upon explicit user actions:

3. Printing
Printing operates entirely via the native operating system stack (Android Print Services / iOS AirPrint). PlainPDF hands off the rendered document to the OS print spooler. No cloud printing services or external networks are utilized.
4. Data Deletion & Account Erasure
Because PlainPDF does not maintain user accounts on remote servers:
- Individual Document Removal: Deleting a file in the app immediately removes the document and its sidecar annotation files from local storage.
- Full Data Purge: Clearing app storage in your device settings or uninstalling PlainPDF permanently erases all associated data with zero residual cloud trace.
