Operator: Huanzhi Tech
YouPet is an Android interactive desktop companion and radial quick utility application developed by Huanzhi Tech. YouPet operates entirely on-device with zero telemetry and zero personal data collection.
1. Zero Data Collection
YouPet does not collect, track, or share your personal data.
- No Personal Identifiers: We do not access your contacts, SMS, GPS location, call logs, or device hardware IDs.
- Local Sandbox Storage: Character preferences, scale sizes, sound settings, and bubble shortcut configurations reside exclusively on your local device.
- Local Sprite Unpacking: Imported Shimeji zip packs are extracted strictly into the application’s private sandbox folder.
2. Permissions Disclosure
| Permission | Usage Timing | Purpose | Network Upload |
|---|---|---|---|
| System Alert Window | While companion is active | Render animated sprite and 4-slot radial bubble menu on home screen | No (Display only) |
| Query All Packages | When customizing quick launcher slot | Enumerate locally installed apps so you can pick quick launcher shortcuts | No (Local picker only, never uploaded) |
| Torch / Flashlight | When tapping quick flashlight | Direct hardware CameraManager control for instant light | No (Switch control only) |
3. Shortcut Actions Security
Transit QR codes, Scan, and Pay shortcuts trigger official system schemes (URL Schemes / Intents) to invoke third-party apps directly. YouPet never intercepts, records, or accesses payment credentials or QR payload data.
4. Data Purge & Account Freedom
YouPet requires no remote accounts. Tapping “Clear Cache” in settings or uninstalling the app permanently purges all local configurations from your device.
